Suzanne El Akabaoui is a leading expert in data governance, privacy regulations, and digital policy. As
Acting CEO of the Personal Data Protection Center and, Advisor to Egypt’s ICT Minister for Data
Governance, she spearheads the development of national regulatory frameworks for personal data
protection and privacy in alignment with Egypt’s 2030 Vision.
A highly accomplished attorney, Suzanne brings extensive experience in commercial, corporate,
technology, and data privacy law. She has advised multinational clients on GDPR compliance, Egyptian
data protection laws, Data Sharing Agreements, and agreements for cybersecurity services.
