Mohamed Shaheen is a technology entrepreneur and AI transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience across artificial intelligence, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, telecommunications, and customer engagement technologies.
He is the Founder and CEO of Appgain.io, where he has led the development of marketing automation and customer engagement solutions serving more than 1,200 businesses across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He is also the creator of ConnectGain, an AI-powered platform that helps companies automate sales, marketing, customer service, and omnichannel communications using AI agents, conversational commerce, CRM automation, and voice intelligence.
Previously, Mohamed worked with Gemalto, now part of Thales, and founded iKhair, a UAE fintech platform that facilitated more than AED 42 million in charitable donations. His work focuses on turning AI from isolated features into practical, AI-first business models that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
Mohamed was selected for the Obama Foundation’s African Leaders program and regularly shares his experience in AI adoption, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and building scalable technology businesses across the MENA region.
