Mohamed Negm is a cybersecurity executive with over 20 years of experience spanning the financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, education and technology industries. He currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at valU, Egypt's leading non-banking financial institution, and previously held senior executive roles at Orange and MDP digital payments.
Throughout his career, Mohamed has built deep expertise in cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, and enterprise security governance, working across environments regulated by international standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2 Type II, and PCI. He has a strong track record of building and maturing security capabilities that strengthen organizational security posture in the face of an increasingly complex and evolving threat landscape. He is recognized for his ability to translate complex security and regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned strategies across diverse industry contexts.
