About me
Mahmoud Hamouda is Head of Strategic Initiatives at Banque Misr, where he helped establish the Strategy Office and supports enterprise-wide strategy execution across digital transformation, data and AI, technology modernization, and new business models.
Before joining Banque Misr, he spent nearly 13 years at Dell Technologies, progressing from operational leadership in Egypt to strategy roles supporting global businesses. His work spanned business and portfolio strategy, innovation, go-to-market planning, emerging technologies, and edge computing, while also contributing to the growth of Dell’s Egypt operations. He also supports the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a startup mentor and selection committee member. Mahmoud holds a master’s degree in Management from Harvard University.
