About me
Dr. Khaled Elgeneidy is an Assistant Professor in Robotics leading the Innovation Hub at The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH). He holds a PhD in Robotics from Loughborough University, UK, and is recognised as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), bringing over a decade of academic experience from British universities in both the UK and Egypt. His research focuses on developing intelligent robotics systems to address grasping and manipulation challenges in the agriculture and manufacturing sectors. Dr. Elgeneidy has led and collaborated on several funded research projects with academic and industrial partners at national and international levels, resulting in over 20 peer-reviewed publications, 900+ citations, and a US patent for a mushroom picking device. Translating research into commercial impact, he co-founded Agaricus Robotics Ltd in the UK, a spin-off company commercialising an autonomous harvesting system following successfully funded research projects from Innovate UK and Ceres Agri-Tech.
