About me
I am a researcher, consultant, and educator specializing in Islamic Finance, Zakat Accounting, and Shariah Audit. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Al-Azhar University and hold two master's degrees in Islamic Finance and Accounting, in addition to several internationally recognized professional certifications from the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI).
Over the years, I have worked in education, financial consulting, entrepreneurship, and investment across multiple sectors before dedicating my career to Zakat Accounting and Shariah Audit. I am the host of the TV program Zakaty, creator of the Shariah Audit podcast, and author of Zakat for Individuals and Companies and the Contemporary Financial Transactions book series.
My work focuses on Zakat accounting, Shariah governance, Islamic financial systems, and helping organizations build Shariah-compliant business models. I am particularly passionate about advancing Islamic fintech, strengthening internal Shariah audit practices, and developing practical solutions that bridge Islamic principles with modern business and finance.
