About me
Ahmed Salem is the chief operating officer of Deloitte Innovation Hub in Cairo, Egypt, where he leads operations and drives the growth of advanced engineering capabilities across AI&Data, Cloud, Software, and Systems Integration. With over 20 years of international experience, Ahmed plays a key role in positioning Deloitte Innovation Hub as a trusted partner for complex, technology-driven transformation programs across EMEA.
In addition to his role at the Deloitte Innovation Hub, Ahmed also serves as AI&Data Engineering Director at Deloitte UK. He works closely with global teams to architect and scale enterprise-grade data platforms, helping clients accelerate innovation, meet regulatory demands, and unlock long-term value from their data investments.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Ahmed held senior leadership roles at Orange Business, and other multinational organizations. His career spans the design and execution of large-scale, cloud-native data ecosystems; including data lakes, streaming architectures, and machine learning platforms for Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and public sector entities.
Ahmed has led multi-disciplinary teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models. He is recognized for his ability to manage high-impact transformation programs from strategy to implementation, consistently delivering measurable outcomes at scale.
