Hisham Akram is a pioneer in Egypt’s financial sector with over 30 years of experience in building and scaling leading institutions. He is the Founder and CEO of GRANITE Financial Holding, where he leads the company’s mission to redefine asset management through introducing innovative and secure, client-centric solutions that disrupt conventional business offerings. He played a pioneering role in launching Egypt’s and the Region’s first investment funds and worked closely with regulators to develop the country’s capital markets. Hisham was a founding partner of Beltone Financial and held senior leadership positions at EFG Hermes and was the CEO of Madinet Nasr. He currently serves on the boards of several institutions, including Misr Real Estate Assets Management and the Investment Committee of the Endowments Authority.
